''Dreams, those luminous meteors that light the night skies of our consciousness, their own reality''

I am Semina Milarokosta, a graduate of the Athens School of Fine Arts (2023), currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Digital Art and Technology at the same institution.

I am a multidisciplinary visual artist specializing in expanded media and various forms. The visual media I employ include construction,
installation, sculpture, sound, and video performance.

Within my artistic practice, I craft fictional characters that navigate unexpected and alternative worlds. Through dynamic actions, the characters I portray interact and blend with the space, resulting in a narrative that can be described as unrealistic or even dreamlike. Often, the protagonist is transported to dystopian and hostile environments, where she is called upon to fulfill a mission.

My primary areas of interest revolve around issues related to the modern lifestyle, female identity, nature, and the human condition at large. Taking a liberated approach, I weave narratives of episodes and stories that could be glimpses into the "real" world or, conversely, aspects of an
unreal reality.

Influenced by the rapid development of technology, digital interaction
platforms, video games, and electronic music, I reinterpret situations in my work that are closely tied to human life. Another significant theme that captivates my attention is the dynamic interplay between public and private spaces, particularly their symbolic manifestations.

My personal perceptions and experiences significantly shape my
worldview. Through the nuanced exploration of social, political, and
psychological controversies, I strive to create works that resonate with the general public, establishing bridges of identification and prompting contemplation on the specific issues I am researching.
